Gay tourists spend an average of $65 billion on travel annually, and a new initiative is looking at what it will take to get them to spend it here. Cleveland offers much as a tourist destination: the arts, fine dining, LeBron. Now the city is working to attract the coveted gay demographic and its plentiful disposable income. Wednesday morning on The Sound of Ideas, we'll chat with the Convention and Visitor's Bureau and others about making Cleveland a gay-friendly destination.

Tamera Brown, Vice President, Marketing, Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland; Bob Witeck, Witeck-Combs Communications; Sue Doerfer, executive director, Cleveland LGBT Community Center
