Dewine Accompanies 25 States In Challenge Of Health Care Law

Ohio's Attorney General and his counterparts in 25 other states are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their legal challenge of the national health care law. Critics of the law say the federal government has no right to order everyone to obtain health insurance...and the states should have the power to deal with the issue. Attorney General Mike Dewine talks with Ohio Public Radio's Bill Cohen about this latest request to the nation's highest court.

Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine is a republican who opposes the national health care law that Democrats pushed through Congress when they were in control. Meanwhile, Ohio voters will decide a related issue in the November election. State isue 3 proposes to exempt Ohio from the federal requirement that everyone must have medical insurance.
