Mosquito-borne Diseases, RNC Street Medics and Medical Improv

On The Sound of Ideas, we’ll learn about the dreaded mosquito, and how nations around the world are impacted by Zika and other mosquito-borne diseases. Then we’ll hear from volunteers training to be street medics during the RNC. They’ll learn how to recognize someone who's been tear-gased or tazed, and get them help, if the worst should happen. Finally, we'll learn how the “Yes, and” technique of improv is helping the medical community better interact with patients.
