Lake Erie And Opioid Crisis Priorities For Incoming Governor; Connecting Downtown To The Lakefront

Mike DeWine's agenda as Ohio Governor includes protecting the health of Lake Erie, which he's called a "Crown Jewel," and combating the deadly opioid crisis. All this week, we've been discussing the governor-elect's top priorities before he takes office, inclduing his pledge to focus on Ohio's children, his commitment to keeping the expansion of Medicare while adding a work requirement, and his vow to be a friend of local government.  This hour, we'll discuss how the governor-elect plans to protect Lake Erie, including his suport of a proposed billion dollar bond issue. And we'll talk to his his new opioid czar. Later, the Plain Dealer's Steven Lit discusses ever-chaning plans to connect downtown Cleveland to the lakefront.
