Cleveland is pursuing a partnership with a national organization to create a program aimed at helping every student get the supports necessary to become college ready -- and then have the means to pay for it. "Say Yes to Education" works with communities to organize their resources around that common goal -- and to raise the money to cover the final dollars a student needs after other grants and scholarships are secured.

Over the next 18 months, Cleveland civic leaders will be involved in an intensive period of planning and fundraising in the hopes of forming a partnership with the "Say Yes" organization.  If selected as a partner city, Cleveland would be the fourth, joining Buffalo, Syracuse, and Greensboro, North Carolina.
