Petting Zoo: Rescue Dogs Train in Abandoned School

An abandoned school becomes the perfect environment for Northwest Disaster Search Dogs, a non-profit organization that trains dogs for urban search and rescue. This intricate environment gives the dogs an opportunity to put their skills to the test and train in a more realistic setting. Dogs have 300 million smell receptors in their noses compared to our 6 million, that is one powerful nose!
