We asked you to tell us about some winter wonders you've seen.

Alena, St. Peter School: My winter wonder is an ice sculpture. It looks like a Christmas tree all the time even after Christmas which is nice because my family takes the Christmas tree down very early. This is how you make the ice sculpture: you connect a hose and a pole and then turn the hose on. Make sure the temperature is pretty cold so the water freezes. This is an example of the ice sculpture below:

Jacob, Glenwood Intermediate School: Some cool things I saw over winter break to now are a LOT of snow. I tried the frozen bubble trick and it was really cool. A thing my teacher told me is if you throw water out the window it will turn to dust (shout out to you, Mrs. Wise). These are just some of the things I saw over winter break to now.

Jayla, Evendale Elementary: A cool winter wonder I observed was the snowy beautiful forest. The sun was out and it made it even better to look at. The farther I went the better and prettier it got.

Ela, Kensington Intermediate School: I built a snowman in my backyard and the next day there was a perfect circle around it because the wind blew all night long to create an interesting snow drift. A drift also formed up to our gate handle. We had to dig through the drift to make the gate work again! :)

Sophia, Old Trail School: Winter wonders I have seen include a leaf and twig preserved in ice. It was like fossils! I have looked at lots of wonders but personally, I think winter wonders are the best!

Lily, Leroy Elementary: I have seen a little waterfall that was ice but if you stick your finger inside of the water it was not really ice, it was water. But if you take your finger out you see ice. I thought that was cool because I may not see this thing again.
