Scholastic Aptitude Test (S.A.T.) (noun): A standardized test that colleges and universities use to determine which students they accept into their schools.

Empathy (noun): Understanding and sharing the feelings of other people.

Psychology (noun): The study of the brain and how it impacts emotion and behavior.

Electronic Addition (noun): The use of electronics despite negative consequences.

Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.) (noun): A part of President Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal program. The W.P.A. employed men without jobs to work on projects for the community.
