The Boyhood Dreams of Louis Stokes

Thanks to the GI Bill after World War Two, Louis Stokes WAS able to go to law school. He later started a law firm with his brother Carl, and went on to become Ohio's first African American elected to the U.S. Congress --- a post he held for 30 years.
