Cleveland’s first Juneteenth Freedom Fest is set to take place downtown at Mall C Saturday, June 19, 12 – 10 p.m. The family-friendly festival features Grammy award-winning performers, local Black vendors, interactive art demonstrations, food trucks and more.
Buckeye Summer Soul Series
The Buckeye Summer Soul Series presents “Juneteenth on Buckeye” on Saturday, June 19, 12 – 6 p.m., at Art & Soul Park on Buckeye Road in Cleveland in collaboration with Black Lives Matter Cleveland, New Era Cleveland and Cleveland NAACP. Enjoy live entertainment, food, giveaways and more.
Akron Symphony Orchestra
The Akron Symphony Orchestra presents its Outside Voices Concert Series at Lock 3 on Saturday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. The free, outdoor concert will feature the Akron Symphony Strings and the Akron Symphony Symphonic Winds with a focus on works from underrepresented composers.
