The Rock Hall kicks off Induction Week with a day of live, local music.

It's a big week for the arts in Northeast Ohio as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum's Induction Week kicks off and the Cleveland Play House returns to the Allen Theatre stage.

Here are five arts opportunities for you to add to your to-do list this week.

Rock Hall Celebration Day

After canceling the induction ceremony last year due to the pandemic, the Rock Hall brings the Induction Week festivities back to Cleveland this year. It begins with the Rock Hall's Celebration Day of live, local music featuring more than 10 bands, including headliners Mourning [A] BLKstar. Join the fun Sunday, Oct. 24, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

"Where Did We Sit on the Bus?"

The Cleveland Play House's first show since the pandemic is the Latinx drama, " Where Did We Sit on the Bus?," by Brian Quijada. The high energy production features live music with Latin and hip hop beats running Oct. 23 - Nov. 14.

"Celebrate Dance"

An evening of ballet, modern dance and jazz steps into the spotlight at the Canton Palace Theatre with the Canton Ballet's new production " Celebrate Dance." The company is excited for its return to the stage Friday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m.

"Fridays at Finney"

The Oberlin Orchestra and Contemporary Music Ensemble have begun the " Fridays at Finney" concert series highlighting contemporary classical music. Guest conductor and Oberlin alumnus Kenneth Bean leads the ensemble in works by 21st century composers Friday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m.

Vintage Art Posters

The Bonfoey Gallery highlights hundreds of posters and prints by artists such as Keith Haring, Andy Warhol and Henri Matisse for its Vintage Poster Sale. Mounting and framing are available during the sale Thursday, Oct. 21, through Saturday, Oct.23.
