Gov. DeWine Press Conference Addressing Columbus Protests

Gov. Mike DeWine will hold a press conference at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29, to address demonstrations in Columbus last night. A group of about 400 people gathered to protest the death of George Floyd, who died while a police officer knelt on his neck in Minneapolis. The protest turned violent and damage was done to the Statehouse and other buildings in downtown Columbus

The governor has said that the press conference will begin at 2:30 p.m. sharp and end an hour later.
