A proposed law that would seek to stop discrimination for LGBTQ people is seeing a new wave of support. Business groups say sexual orientation and gender identification should be considered protected classes in Ohio. Here to tell us more about the bill is Statehouse correspondent Andy Chow.
Critics are accusing ECOT, the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow, of deliberately manipulating student data to defraud the state out of millions of dollars. Ohio’s employers are getting a break from the state agency that deals with injured workers. And a vote is scheduled for May 15 for House members to elect a new Speaker, but Democrats want an independent probe into the resignation of former Speaker Cliff Rosenberger.
