Young Politicians

Take a look at Congress, your local city council, or your school board. It's not likely that you'll see many elected officials under 30. One reason: Young people don't want to run. A recent national survey found 89 % of high school and college students had zero interest in holding one of the 500,000 elected offices that America needs to fill each year. Even for those who want to run, the old guard doesn't make it easy to get an elbow in. On Thursday's The Sound of Ideas, recruiting the next wave of Northeast Ohio politicians.
