Unopposed Races In Cuyahoga County; Olympic Games Diplomacy; Statehouse Update

There's a primary coming up in May and a General Election in November and there's plenty of competition for statehouse spots, including governor. But in Cuyahoga County government, the outcome already has been decided in many races.  Is so much unopposed incumbency healthy for government?  Cuyahoga County is hardly alone. But the question is, why? When this form of government was approved by voters a decade ago, reformers envisioned robust competition and more choice for voters.   Later, will the Olympics affect relations between North and South Korea, and the United States?
