The recession is taking a toll on nearly every industry and the arts are no exception. The Akron Art Museum has cut hours and employees in an effort to reduce spending. Cleveland Orchestra Music Director Franz Welser-Most and Executive Director Gary Hanson accepted sizable voluntary pay cuts.
