Revitalizing Downtown Lorain

In a special edition of the Sound of Ideas, the program takes a look at the revitalization of downtown Lorain and comes to you on location at the Charleston Coffee House on Broadway Ave. in the heart of the historic port city.  Lorain has weathered some tough economic challenges, but now a group of young entrepreneurs are restoring buildings and opening shops on a once boarded-up Broadway.  Arts and entertainment festivals are bringing crowds and life to the center city.  Can the arts transform downtown Lorain into an entertainment destination like they have in the Gordon Square Arts District, Tremont and Collinwood in Cleveland?  Join us to hear some exciting plans for the city.
