Medicaid Work Requirements

If the state legislature gets federal approval, Ohioans that benefit from the Affordable Care Act’s expansion of Medicaid will have to follow new work requirements or lose their health insurance. The state says the policy will help end people’s reliance on public assistance, but healthcare advocates say this puts an unfair burden on the mainly poor and disabled population. Join us on The Sound of Ideas as we discuss Medicaid work requirements.
