Growing Urban Green Districts

To reduce dependence oil, Americans need to use less of it. That means thinking green. In Oberlin, it also means thinking big. More than simply a sustainable building on the Oberlin College campus, a public-private partnership there is planting the seeds of a post fossil fuel economy with a 13-acre green city block and a 20,000 acre greenbelt for agriculture. We'll look at the Oberlin Project, and other green urban initiatives in Northeast Ohio, tomorrow at 9 on 90.3.
