Ohio and 31 other states have begun using a new way to evaluate teachers: value-added. It’s a statistical model that tries to measure how much knowledge a teacher has imparted on his or her students over the course of one year. How does it work? Guests

Molly Bloom, reporter with StateImpact Ohio
Melissa Cropper, President of the Ohio Federation of Teachers
Mike Thomas, Director of Senior Innovation at Battelle for Kids
Cynthia Lee Kozak, teacher at Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools
