CSU Film School Proposal Could Make Region Player in Hollywood Productions

There's a new script in development for how the film, TV and interactive media businesses might flourish in Ohio and specifically in Northeast Ohio.

There are several major plot points, including a proposed expansion of the film tax credit the state offers, the quest to build an indoor sound stage in Northeast Ohio, possibly in an abadoned mall or theme park, and this news that broke last week: The state's new capital budget calls for $7-point-five million dollars for Cleveland State University to build a new film, TV and interactive media school.
