City Club Forum: Amending the State Constitution

The Ohio constitution might as well be written in pencil; there have been 10 amendments in the last eight years, most recently to allow casinos in our state. Compare that with the U.S. Constitution, amended only 27 times since 1787. Should we put away the eraser or are the changes necessary to meet today's needs? As the Sound of Ideas team enjoys the Labor Day holiday, we present a City Club of Cleveland conversation on the history, and the future, of the Ohio Constitution.
*The Sound of Ideas returns Tuesday with Diane Ravitch, author of "The Death and Life of the Great American School System" to talk about what works and what doesn't when it comes to education.
