The Buckeye Budget

For the last two weeks, Republican legislators have been in a game of budgetary chicken with Ohio Governor Strickland. Now, finally, the Buckeye state has its budget. Slots are in at the racetracks, the state higher education tuition freeze is out. Big losers include mental health services, nursing homes and state employees.
