Cleveland City Council urges to preserve Federal Historic Tax Credit

Cleveland City Council adopted a resolution urging Congress to preserve the Federal Historic Tax Credit, saying it's a "crucial tool" for Cleveland's development projects.

This is just ahead of House Republicans unveiling a tax reform bill that could chop that tax credit.

Since the program began four decades ago, Cuyahoga County used the historic tax credit on nearly 300 projects, totaling more than $2 billion in investment.
