135,000 people die each year in America from strokes. Hundreds of thousands more are disabled but advances in clot-busting drugs, brain imaging and surgical techniques have improved the odds for patients, markedly. ideastream reporter Rick Jackson talks with Ellen Jan Kleinerman of The Plain Dealer in our latest installment of this week's health series, "Surviving Stroke."
