ProgressOhio Leader Reflects On Leaked Memo

Recent polls show Ohioans are poised to vote to repeal the collective bargaining law when they vote on Issue 2 on November 8th. Some polls show Issue 2 could fail by 20 percent or more, but even some progressives think those polls could be off -- and the Washington Post is reporting a leaked memo from Brian Rothenberg at the liberal policy group “Progress Ohio” shows he thinks the vote might not be a huge blowout. That article is making its rounds on conservative blogs so Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles talked with Rothenberg to have him explain what he was thinking.

Rothenberg says the memo was sent to people who are helping fight to defeat Issue 2. He says he’s not sure how it ended up on the pages of a national newspaper.
