Ohio to Give $120 Million to Counties to Repair Bridges

The Ohio Department of Transportation’s Director, Jerry Wray, says the state is providing about $120 million to repair more than 200 of those local bridges over the next three years.

“The reason we're able to do this is because of the efficiencies and operating changes that have taken place at the Department of Transportation have allowed us the flexibility to have a program like this," Wray said.

Wray said the bridges that were chosen for this program were selected because of concerns for safety and high traffic.
