KASICH: "He's a big Republican activist, and so I went over to talk to him. I talk to lots of people. But it's going to be kind of hard for anybody after I spent my time getting more money out of the casinos to say that he doesn't have anything in Ohio."
But Kasich says he did talk to Adelson about the Holocaust Memorial that’s being built on the Statehouse grounds, a project that Kasich has personally pushed and that he says is the first of its kind in the U.S. But he says he did not talk to the casino magnate about his plans to run for re-election in 2014 or about anything he might be planning for 2016.
