Cleveland Council on World Affairs: Alan Tonelson Presentation

Per the release: "Small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in this country have never seen a threat to their survival like the threat that's been coming from the recent trade agreements that we've been signing," warned Alan Tonelson. He contends that trade agreements, particularly with China, have sent manufacturing jobs overseas and created a massive trade surplus that puts the American economy at risk. Called one of "Washington's Top China-Watchers" by International Economy magazine, Mr. Tonelson has testified before the Senate Commerce Committee and the Congressional Trade Deficit Review Commission. His previous positions include Associate Editor of Foreign Policy and Fellow at the Economic Strategy institute.
