ideastream Names Faith N. Noble as Chief Financial Officer

CLEVELAND, Ohio (November 12, 2018) — ideastream, Northeast Ohio’s innovative multiple media organization and parent company of WVIZ/PBS, 90.3 WCPN and WCLV 104.9, has named Faith N. Noble as Chief Financial Officer. Beginning on January 7, 2019, Noble will serve in her new role on the executive leadership team of ideastream overseeing all budgets, financial forecasting and financial administrative matters.

Noble is a career nonprofit and public finance professional who has served organizations across Northeast Ohio. Most recently, she worked as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for Towards Employment, Inc., a leading workforce development organization in Cleveland. Noble managed a cross-functional team of administrative staff, overseeing financial operations, human resources and information systems. In addition, she led finance and operations at Bloom Artisan Bakery & Café, a Towards Employment, Inc. social enterprise startup.

Previously, Noble was Controller at The Cleveland Orchestra, Director of Finance and Administration at the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University (CSU), Adjunct Faculty in the Nonprofit Leadership graduate program at CSU, Finance Director at Union-Miles Development Corporation and Senior Associate at Saltz, Shamis & Goldfarb. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

“I am impressed with Faith’s ability to lead complex financial and operational functions, while maintaining an unrelenting focus on serving the community through her work,” said Kevin Martin, ideastream President and CEO. “Faith’s expertise is essential as ideastream continues to seek new opportunities to build upon our strong financial position and maintain long-term sustainability in Northeast Ohio. She is a welcomed and critical addition to our executive team.”

“ideastream is a hugely important asset to Northeast Ohio. Throughout my life, public media has shaped my worldview and given me a better understanding of the experiences and perspectives of others. As a lifelong fan of PBS and NPR, I look forward to contributing to the longevity and financial stability of ideastream,” said Noble. “I am grateful to Kevin and the rest of the organization’s leadership for giving me the opportunity to serve the community through this important role.”

A resident of Lakewood, Ohio, Noble is an active member of the community. She volunteers as a founding member and Treasurer of St. Paul’s Community Outreach, an organization serving families in need on Cleveland’s near-west side. Noble was recently appointed the Citizens Advisory Committee by the City of Lakewood after serving two terms on the Community Relations Committee.
